Welcome to our Game Maker RPG Guide. This Guide will take you step by step from complete beginner to being able to make your own 2D console-style RPG.
This guide assumes that you no absolutely nothing about Game Maker. We do, however, highly recommend that you have played an RPG such as Pokemon.
This guide was created using Game Maker 7.

RPGs or role playing games are video games based on the battle mechanics of traditional pen-and-paper RPGs. Zelda is not an RPG GDN, despite popular belief (it's an adventure game.)
